Fat blasting workout

Posted on May 18, 2012 in Exercise

All right ladies and gents, the time has come to reveal the ultimate fat blasting workout that you can do almost anywhere. I’m sure we have all experienced times in the past when we go on holidays or are away from home on business and we cannot find a gym to work out in. It’s not only frustrating, but unfair on our body, if we don’t give it it’s daily dose of exercise.

After experiencing the frustration of not being able to find a gym all but too many times I was subsequently introduced to the following work out by my business partner. The best thing about this workout is that you can change the exercises to vary it up and its format allows for a good degree of intensity to remain throughout. All in all it should take you about half an hour to complete.

The workout is called Satellite and it goes a little something like this:

Pick out 5 body weight exercises (if you cannot think of any try this website: http://greatist.com/fitness/50-bodyweight-exercises-you-can-do-anywhere-030612/) for today we’ll perform the following:

a) Push ups

b) Squat jumps

c) Burpees

d) Chin ups (or pull ups on a bar)

e) Walking lunges (10 steps on wach side)

Once you have chosen your exercises you will perform 10 repetitions of every exercise in the following sequence:

Round 1- a, b, a, c, a, d, a, e

Round 2- b, c, b, c, b, d, b, a

Round 3- c, d, c, e, c, a, c, b

Round 4- d, e, d, a, d, b, d, c

Round 5- e, a, e, b, e, c, e, d

Rest for 60 seconds at the end of every round then get straight back into it. This is resistance training at its best, at a great intensity too. Try it out and let me know what you think. What is your best on the road work out? Do you have a workout that you think trumps Satellite? I’d love to hear about it so feel free to post it in the comments. In the mean time train hard and fight easy team.
