2014 Final Quarterly

Posted on Jan 5, 2015 in Inspiration, Leadershp, Motivation

2014 has come and now it’s almost gone, but don’t worry there will be another year.

Don’t dwell on what you didn’t get quite right this year, you’ll get it right next time, you know better now.

Acknowledge and be proud of the great things you did and look forward to many more of these moments to come in the New Year ahead.

Don’t wish this year, this month, this day, this time away, as all we ever have is this moment here and now.

If you feel everything is getting away from you, take a moment to BREATHE, to be PRESENT and bring everything back to you. You are the beginning and the end of all your perceived problems.

If you say ‘time is going fast’, ‘time is flying’, ‘everything is going too quickly’, then chances are it will and it will continue to. Only you can change your perception of time, so SLOW things down and enjoy.

Life can’t be taught, it can only be experienced, no one has all the answers, so do your best, trust in yourself and call your own shots, you’ll get it right more often than you think.

Acknowledge the year that has past for all its good moments and for all its not so good moments, but don’t allow yourself to be defined by them.

Be proud of the challenges you have managed to overcome up unto this point and be prepared for taking on the challenges that lie ahead.

Tell your friends and family you love them every opportunity you get.

Don’t shy away from uncertainty or the unknown, relish in the opportunity it presents you with to grow.

Dare to be more than you ever imagined and surround yourself with people who see that in you. Don’t surround yourself with people who drag you down.

Keep your mind sharp, your body active and feed yourself the good stuff, insure your body is in the best possible condition it can be to live your life to the fullest.

If you aren’t happy with something or someone in your life, change it.

At the year’s end ask yourself these 4 questions:

What was your greatest achievement this year?

What was your biggest challenge this year?

Who was the person who had the most positive influence on your life this year?

What is your number 1 ambition for the year ahead?

Then, when it’s all said and done, most importantly: Enjoy your journey!
